Terms of Service

Welcome to Resume Maker (also referred to as ImpresCV). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and Az-kaaf LLP (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in Jammu & Kashmir, India. These Terms govern your access to and use of our online resume builder, document tools, templates, and related services (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

  1. Accounts
    • You must be at least 16 years old to use ImpresCV.
    • Provide accurate details when signing up and keep them updated.
    • Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for all activity on your account.
    • If you notice suspicious activity, email us at support@imprescv.com.
  2. Using ImpresCV

    We give you a personal, limited license to use ImpresCV for creating resumes, cover letters, portfolios, and job applications.

    You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer our software, or use it to build a competing service.

  3. Acceptable Use

    Please don’t use ImpresCV to:

    • Break the law or infringe others’ rights
    • Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content (including viruses)
    • Spam, scam, or harass other users
    • Try to hack or disrupt the platform
  4. Payments & Subscriptions
    • Some features require a paid subscription (see our pricing page).
    • Subscriptions typically renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel a subscription from your account settings or by contacting support; cancelling prevents future renewals but may not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
    • Payments are processed by third-party providers (for example, Stripe or Razorpay). We do not store your full card details on our servers. All payment disputes, refunds, and chargebacks are handled according to the policies of the payment provider and this policy.
    • Deleting your account will terminate your access to paid features and we will attempt to cancel recurring billing. You remain responsible for any charges already processed. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details on eligibility and timelines.
  5. Your Data
    • You own the resumes, cover letters, and content you create.
    • You grant us permission to process your data so the Service can function (for example, storing and formatting your documents).
    • We don’t sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
  6. Our Content

    ImpresCV, including our templates, branding, software, and suggestion features, belong to Az-kaaf LLP. Please don’t copy or misuse them.

  7. Disclaimer

    We provide ImpresCV “as is.” While our automated suggestions can provide improvements, they don’t guarantee jobs, interviews, or results. You are responsible for reviewing and using the content you create.

  8. Limitation of Liability

    We’re not liable for indirect damages (like lost opportunities or data). Our maximum liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

  9. Ending Your Account

    You may delete or deactivate your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account will terminate your access to the Service and to any paid features. We will make a best-effort to cancel recurring billing with our payment providers, but the timing and completeness of cancellation may be subject to the provider’s policies. Charges already processed are not automatically refunded; please see our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.

    We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Following termination, we will delete or de-identify personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and legal retention obligations.

  10. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Jammu & Kashmir, India. Disputes will be handled in Jammu & Kashmir under Indian law.

  11. Final Notes
    • We may update these Terms. If changes are important, we’ll let you know.
    • If any part of these Terms isn’t enforceable, the rest still applies.
    • These Terms + our Privacy Policy are the full agreement between you and us.
